The Ceylon Fisheries Corporation is a state organization of the Sri Lanka Government which sell and distribute frozen fish within the country. We are interested in purchasing following frozen fish varities.

Facilities & Services Provided by the CFC
 
Services   The core activities of the CFC consist of the following.
  1. Purchase & Sale of fish
  2. Production & Sale of fishery by products

The Corporation also provides the following cold storage facilities.

*          1. 1000 M.T. cold storage  (-20LC)
            2.  Blast freezing  20 M.T per day (-40LC)

Additional Services

In addition to these activities the Corporation also generates revenue from the following;

a.  Fish Mela project – This is a new marketing concept which involves the retail sale of high quality fish to consumers at a weekly fair held in Colombo and other strategic locations in the country.

b.  Income earned from the foreign deep sea fishing operator Companies through processing charges, fish handling and  service charges.
